Plumpton College has grown to become one of the leading providers in the land & environment sector. Delivering a diverse range of vocational courses, with varied entry levels in further and higher education and apprenticeships. From Adventure Education & Sport to Animal Management, Environmental Studies & Conservation to Aquatic Science, Equine Management to Floristry, Forestry to Horticulture and Blacksmithing to Veterinary Nursing. The main campus is nestled in the stunning surroundings of the Downs just outside Lewes and only 9 miles from Brighton, therefore within reach of a broad area. The size of the campus enables us to bring students a strong level of facilities in a great space to study. The College has a commercial Farm; Animal Management has over 200 species of animals, there are 29 state of the art forges for Blacksmithing, workshops for Agricultural Engineering and Motor Vehicle, a climbing wall for Adventure Education and stables for 50 horses alongside our mechanical horse!  The College continues to invest in its facilities, opening the Horticultural Centre of Excellence at One Garden Brighton in Stanmer Park and building has begun on the Agri Food project, which will house our Bakery, Butchery and Fishmongery Apprenticeships.
