Are you aged 16-29? Unemployed and not in education? Unsure about what to do next? In need of a confidence boost? We provide free guidance and support to help you develop skills and confidence to move into work, training or education. Make Trax is funded by the European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund. Our friendly coaches can meet you in locations like libraries or cafés (the drinks are on us!) Support is also via telephone, video calls and email if you prefer. We work in a flexible way and Make Trax is different for every person, but these are some of the things we do…Exploring what you want from your future and possible career options, Supporting you to find and apply to a suitable college, apprenticeship or training provider, Job-searching, Accessing online courses, Building confidence, motivation, and social skills, Accessing creative activities to engage and inspire, Employability skills like CV writing, interview prep, work placements, Helping you get involved with volunteering, Signposting you to services that can help you overcome your individual barriers, Financial help to support you with any additional barriers you may be facing, such as access to technology, buying interview clothes, transport costs.
