We are the Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (RSPCA) and we've been here, looking out for animals, since 1824.

Our mission is to ensure animals have a good life by rescuing and caring for those in need, by advocating on behalf of all animals and by inspiring everyone to treat them with compassion and respect.

Every day, with the help of our people and our generous supporters, we take steps to achieve our mission. From rescuing a stranded deer to changing the law, we've already achieved so much and come so far.

In the decade of our bicentenary, and operating in a world that’s more complex and challenging than ever before, we’re determined to continue increasing our reach, impact and effectiveness. If we are to achieve this, our people (both employees and volunteers) must be motivated, resilient and innovative.
